About Us

New Ulm was proposed as the site of the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame back in 1988 when the idea originated to honor musicians, both past and present, who have contributed significantly to the Minnesota music scene.

Established with categories reflecting the wide variety of Minnesota's musical heritage, the founding organization is incorporated and trademarked as the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame, Inc.

The Minnesota Music Hall of Fame museum is located at First North Street and Broadway in New Ulm, Minnesota.

Memorabilia of individual musicians and musical groups as well as photographs of all who have been inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame may be seen and appreciated at a nominal fee of $7. Cash and checks are OK, NO CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS ACCEPTED.

Included In The Admission: an Audio Tour Of The Museum, Featuring Information On Each Inductee.

The museum is open regularly Apr 1st-Nov 1st. Hours are Thur through Sat from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
