Maintenance Worker
The City of New Ulm is currently accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance Worker in the Street Department. This position is responsible for assisting with the repair and maintenance of city streets, storm and sanitary sewer systems, signage, boulevard areas, trees, and other city-owned properties and equipment. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three (3) years of experience in the construction trades (asphalt, concrete, and/or carpentry), a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), and the ability to report to the Public Works building within 30 minutes of call-out. A tanker endorsement is required within 6 months of hire. Pay range is $27.30 – $35.05 per hour.
