Pocket Lounge @The Grand Kabaret

Pocket lounge is a funk/fusion trio formed in southern Minnesota. Jack Sherwood on guitar, Shailin O’Brien on drums, and Charlie Kotasek on bass. Jack and Shailin have known each other since preschool, and played music together all throughout high school. They met Charlie while in high school, but all three never played together until a couple years after Jack and Shailin graduated. Their first time playing together happened just a couple days before their first gig. It was immediately obvious that there was a connection among them that made it really easy to make music. Since then, they have been steadily writing new songs and released their debut album “Walleye Denial” in August of 2024.
