Toni Schutta will present “How to Raise a Kind-Hearted Child in a Selfie Culture” as part of the 2018 Life Living Speaker Series. This year's series is focused on "The Challenge of Children," and three speakers will focus on different aspects of child development and teaching children. This presentation was rescheduled from Monday, January 22. Schutta is a parenting coach, parenting speaker, and licensed psychologist based in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Her parenting programs have been featured in Parents, Woman’s World, and MN Parent, as well as on national newscasts. All Life Living Speaker programs will be presented at New Ulm Community Center, 600 N German. Seating is first come, first served. The 2018 Life Living Speaker Series is sponsored by New Ulm Public Library, United Way of New Ulm, New Ulm Medical Center, New Ulm Area Community Education, and New Ulm Park and Recreation. These programs are made possible in part by a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative with funding from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
