Craig and Elizabeth Fischer operate Sleepy Bison Acres, a 255-acre farm in Brown County, Minnesota. On 100 of those acres, they manage a 100-head bison herd. They also operate Sleepy Bison Grill, a food truck featuring pastured bison from their herd that are supplemented with hay and grain from their farm. The Fischers grow the grain on a mixture of soil types, with an 80-acre field using drip irrigation.
