The Golden Age of American radio period lasted roughly from the early 1930 through the late 1940s, when the medium of commercial broadcast radio grew into the fabric of daily life in the United States, providing news and entertainment to a country struggling with economic depression and war. Radio shows and personalities will be discussed. Two Thursday sessions on January 31 & Feb 7, 2019 at 1:30 - 2:30.
